Hillcrest Youth Center
The San Diego LGBT Community Center (The Center) provides vital resources, support, and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals across San Diego.
Established in 2000, The Center’s Hillcrest Youth Center (HYC) was the first LGBTQ+ youth drop-in center in the county, with the South Bay Youth Center (SBYC) following in 2019 to serve Chula Vista and surrounding areas.
Both centers offer a wide range of youth services, including social meetups, health education, HIV testing, and support groups.
With dedicated programs for youth ages 10-24, The Center emphasizes inclusion, community, and wellness, offering free services to all regardless of immigration status.
