Gay Fathers Toronto (GFT) has been a welcoming and confidential support group for gay fathers since 1978. It provides a safe and understanding space for fathers who are coming to terms with their sexuality, offering opportunities to share experiences, gain support, and connect with others who have faced similar journeys. GFT has no religious affiliations and welcomes all fathers seeking guidance, reassurance, or a sense of belonging.
Meetings take place twice a month in person and twice virtually, ensuring accessibility for those in and outside of Toronto. Led by trained volunteer facilitators, these gatherings offer a non-judgmental space to listen, share, and find support at your own pace. Whether you’re newly out or have been on this path for a while, GFT provides a compassionate network where every father can feel heard and supported.
