The Fairness Campaign, founded in 1991, is Kentucky’s leading LGBTQ advocacy organization, dedicated to securing comprehensive civil rights legislation that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, while also working to dismantle systemic racism.
Through legislative advocacy, public education, and grassroots organizing, the Fairness Campaign has helped pass Fairness Ordinances in 24 Kentucky communities, protecting LGBTQ individuals in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
The organization is committed to creating an inclusive society where all people are valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
