Denver Gay Men's Chorus
The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus (DGMC) has been a prominent LGBTQ change catalyst since 1982. With over 300 concerts, this 140-member ensemble is a leading gay performing arts group in the Rocky Mountain Region. Known for its socially impactful programming, DGMC combines entertainment and education, advocating for acceptance and tolerance in Denver and Colorado’s Front Range.
DGMC has graced stages nationwide, including Boettcher Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall, and participated in inaugural events for Governor Jared Polis. Their performances, including Disney PRIDE and collaborations with renowned composers and guest artists, celebrate LGBTQ life and resilience.
Beyond entertainment, DGMC actively supports community initiatives, partnering with organizations like The Matthew Shepard Foundation and participating in anti-bullying campaigns in schools. Marking its 40th anniversary with collaborations like the one with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, DGMC continues to inspire through its mission of "building community through music."
