CLAW, or Cleveland Leather Annual Weekend, originated from a 2001 discussion between Dennis McMahon and Bob Miller, both leather titleholders.
Initially set as a fundraiser without a contest, it quickly gained popularity. CLAW is known for its commitment to the leather, fetish, and BDSM community, focusing on education, volunteerism, and charity through an annual conference held in Cleveland.
The event has grown consistently, contributing significantly to various community charities. CLAW's approach includes a strong emphasis on inclusivity and respect, welcoming a diverse crowd and fostering a safe environment for all attendees.
