Stockholm Dolphins Swim Club

Stockholm Dolphins is a unique swim club in Sweden, as it is the country's first LGBTQ-friendly swim club. It caters to all swimming enthusiasts, regardless of their skill level. The club has members who range from almost beginners to those with a strong focus on competition and train multiple times a week. The club is located in Stockholm and welcomes all interested swimmers.

The club trains three times a week at Eriksdalsbadet and requires only that its members be able to swim a few hundred meters of crawl. This makes it accessible to a wide range of swimmers, whether they are just starting out or have been swimming for years. The club was founded in September 2000 and has since become a member of both the Swedish Swimming Federation and the Swedish Sports Federation.

In addition to regular training sessions, Stockholm Dolphins also participates in open water swimming and coordinates training and participation in various competitions. The club is a welcoming and inclusive community for all its members, and many of its members come from diverse backgrounds and speak different languages. English speakers are also welcome, and the club can make all its practices bilingual to accommodate all its members.
