Tepláreň
Tepláreň is a unique space that embodies equality, freedom, and respect. Established in 2012 as a party series in various clubs across Bratislava and other Slovak cities, it has evolved into a significant community hub and educational center, particularly for the LGBTI+ community.
Originally a party held in multiple clubs in Bratislava and cities like Košice, Banská Bystrica, and Žilina, Tepláreň transformed in 2015 when it opened its own bar on Zámocká Street in Bratislava. Following a terrorist attack in 2022, the bar shifted its focus from just being a social spot to becoming a center for enlightenment and community building. It now emphasizes educating about LGBTI+ issues and fostering community connections.
Tepláreň hosts a variety of programs, including the Tepláreň naživo discussion series and the popular Tep La Ren Cabaret. Additionally, the original Tepláreň party continues to thrive, now finding a home at the Šafko club. This evolution from a party to a multifaceted community space underscores Tepláreň's commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and open environment where individuality is celebrated as a source of inspiration and strength.
