Legato Choirs
LEGATO is the European Association of LGBTQ+ Choirs, representing 140 member choirs and ensembles from 21 countries, with over 5,500 singers and musicians.
The organization promotes art, culture, and understanding across nations through choral events and supports the development of LGBTQ+ choirs, particularly in regions where being LGBTQ+ is criminalized.
LEGATO connects new choirs with experienced ones, maintains a directory of LGBTQ+ choirs in Europe, and actively combats discrimination.
The association also supports fundraising efforts for LGBTQ+ causes, such as aid for LGBTIQ+ individuals in Ukraine.
