For nearly two decades, "Die Tollkirschen" has been the only gay men's choir in Eastern Germany, apart from Berlin. Our repertoire includes songs by East German composers and more. Led by Conny Schäfer, a woman, our four-part harmony choir welcomes new singers.
Beyond singing, we incorporate original choreography and sharp-witted lyrics into our performances. We engage with current events and offer a unique musical cabaret experience.
Founded in 1993 as "Die Kirschblüten" (The Cherry Blossoms), we matured and transformed into "Die Tollkirschen" (The Deadly Nightshades) in 2003. 🌈🎵🎭
