La Fondation Le Refuge is a recognized public utility in France, providing shelter and support to LGBT+ youth aged 14 to 25 who have been rejected by their families due to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
With a network of 400 volunteers and 20 support and housing facilities across the country, the foundation helps 200 young people every night. In addition to offering safe housing, Le Refuge also engages in prevention and awareness activities, particularly in rural areas, to combat LGBTphobia and support vulnerable youth.
